Case in point, our latest collaboration with Kipaş Denim. After months of co-creation and testing by scientists and experts at both companies, Kipaş — our fabric mill partner of more than 30 years — is set to release a denim collection that takes fit and comfort to the next level.

Called FIT ID Relax, the new denim fabric collection for men’s and women’s jeans will be unveiled at Kingpins Amsterdam in April.

What makes FIT ID Relax so special is a product from The LYCRA Company that takes our LYCRA® ADAPTIV fiber and adds anti-slip properties, reducing the chance of puckering, waving, and rippling in jeans. LYCRA® ADAPTIV fiber gives clothing a snug, second-skin fit without feeling restrictive. It adapts to your body’s movements, delivering the right stretch and hold at rest or in motion.

“FIT ID Relax is a high-stretch line of denim. It’s engineered for easier stretch, easier movement. It’s made to fit your body,” said Emanuela Rossi, a senior technical and market development professional at The LYCRA Company. “Our collaboration with Kipaş Denim for FIT ID Relax adds anti-slip security that improves garment quality and increases longevity over typical stretch denim.” 

Garments made with this fabric will be eligible for free LYCRA® ADAPTIV brand hang tags, an added benefit for our customers.
