Workwear is getting an upgrade.
Last year, The LYCRA Company joined the Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide, or PCIAW®, and together we’ve been spreading the word about The LYCRA Company’s best workwear fiber innovations. Our commitment to comfort, durability, inclusivity, and sustainability is a natural fit for the workwear segment, and we found a perfect collaborator in PCIAW®, the premiere organization offering a collective voice for global uniform, workwear, and PPE supply chains.
We're excited to return to the PCIAW® Summit in London later this month, running from October 29-30. We were the key sponsor of the event last year and presenter of the Enhanced Comfort Innovation Award, which recognized a fabric mill, garment manufacturer, brand, or retailer that demonstrated exceptional innovation and creativity in incorporating our fibers into their products. The 2024 award was presented to our longtime partner, Nishat Mills, which created a stretch fabric with LYCRA® fibers enhanced with an antibacterial mint-based finish to keep wearers feeling comfortable and fresh.
